Triangle Brigade, organized by Zach Rossitch, is a team that competes in Raleigh in the Triangle Adult Soccer Association..

In June of 2014, Triangle Brigade guaranteed their qualification for the 2015 Lamar Hunt Open Cup, by becoming  2014 USASA Region III Open Champions. Triangle defeated defending champions the NTX Rayados 3-1.

The Lamar Hunt Open Cup is a tournament conducted by US Soccer, which starts at the grassroot levels and progresses through the professional ranks as your team continues to win. In a nutshell, the U.S. Open Cup is very similar to domestic cup competitions popular throughout Europe, South America and the rest of the world. Cup competitions, which usually run concurrent with a country’s league season, are open in the early stages to any club that qualifies, giving local amateur teams a chance to compete against the best teams a country has to offer.

Last month, Triangle Brigade travel to Spartanburg, South Carolina to compete with the Spartanburg Upward Stars are members of the National Premier Soccer League.

Unfortunately Triangle Brigade fell to the Upwards in a penalty shoot out after 120 minutes of combative ball.

This month Triangle Brigade travel to Dallas, Texas to defend their title in the 2015 USASA Region III National Cup Championship. Triangle Brigade is in Group A with Nashville United, CD Motagua and Dallas TNT.

Group B: NTX Rayados, Peshmerga, Cajun SC, Gate City FC
